Topic % Appearance

IGCSE Maths A (4MA1) - Edexcel

How often each topic appeared in exam papers from June 2018 to June 2025 (28 exam series), counted from every question in the Questions Database. A topic only counts where it's what a question tests, not where it's a step along the way (like solving an equation inside a Pythagoras question). 100% means it appeared in at least one paper in every series, NOT every paper. A series is all the papers from one sitting, e.g. June 2025 (Papers 1 and 2). R papers are sat instead of the main papers, so each set counts as its own series. A group, like Probability, counts any of its topics. Click one to open it.

Note: these percentages show how often topics have come up in past papers. They don't predict what will be on the next exam, so revise every topic.
